On Saturday 20th June 2026, on the brink of the tenth anniversary of our vote to leave the EU, a march took place in central London to make a demand of our government — we must rejoin.
Our very own, Sal Dodgson, was a guest speaker at the event which culminated in Parliament Square, within the shadow of the Houses of Parliament themselves. She opened the show with a rousing speech that earned a loud and very well-deserved response.

We marched from Temple tube station, past Somerset House, over Waterloo Bridge, along York Road, across Westminster Bridge and into our destination — Parliament Square. The turnout was magnificent with anti-Brexit groups descending from across our tortured nation, bring with them a fine selection of banners, flags and chants. The atmosphere was one of hope rather than sadness. Oh, and many chants were at the expense of Nigel Farage, so humour was a key driver.
All speakers echoed the same message — we must rejoin — there is no credible evidence or reasoning that should prevent this from happening. Watch some clips below, and you’ll hear the message delivered loudly and clearly.
With our constant barracking and changing of Prime Ministers, there is one thing that would guarantee another Labour General Election win — call for us to rejoin. Be it a referendum that would result in a landslide or a policy proposal — WE MUST REJOIN. 🇪🇺
Sal was invited by the team at National Rejoin March to speak at the rally. She was due to go on second in the running but due to an unexpected no show of the first guest, was thrown in at the deep end to open the show.
And open it she did!
