SAL
DON
Sally is a ‘woman of a certain age’, mother to an adolescent, slave to several cats (who all hate each other) and a recently bereft dog lover. She is, after a lifetime of chronic illness, now invisibly disabled & spends much of her time online campaigning for underdog issues, predominantly poverty & disability rights (to be treated as though human by the government).
After checking out of school prematurely Sally left school with very little and mastered a few careers as a Vet Nursing, Croupier & Exec PA’s. Eventually landing a thankfully short-lived experience at the Spectator magazine. Sally was also the first female professional Rugby Union Manager in the country. These days she has far less capacity & energy, so puts her efforts into self-improvement, education & understanding. Sally is a humanity & nature focussed campaigner with interests in sociology, psychology, epigenetics, neurology & geopolitics.
Don has a very varied and interesting history, from his degree in Computer-Aided Engineering, he went on to be a chef and run bars for the first part of his career and then ended up in IT and graphic design … as you do!
In recent times, he’s turned his hand to writing/journalism and produces some* articles a week on his Substack, alongside his prolific 𝕏 output! He has recently written for Byline Times and hopes to take on more freelance journalism in 2026 — time permitting.
He has become relatively well known for his investigative journalism, especially in tackling the far-right and media disinformation.
